How to remove a Mazda 6 car stereo - (2008 Onwards)

Start by removing the upper air vents which you may need to gently prise out upwards. These are on pressure clips.

Now remove the handbrake surround in a simular way. These too are on pressure clips.

Now remove the left and right hand trim that runs down the sides of the dashboard. Again, on pressure clips.

Removal of both these pieces of trim should now give you access to the screws securing the stereo in place. Undo these.
Disconnect the wiring loom and aerial to release the stereo.
