How to remove a Mercedes A Class car stereo - (2004 Onwards)

Start by prising off the trim around the heater controls. These are on pressure clips.

The console should look like this.

Now locate the airvents and if you shine a torch or look carefully you should see a clip in each top left and top right corner inside the airvent. Use the flat head screwdriver to nudge these clips inwards to release the air vents.

You now have access to the 4 torx screws holding the stereo in place. Undo these to release the stereo forward.
Disconnect the wiring and aerial to release the stereo.
